Where do babies come from?

Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV)

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY; FILL THEEARTH and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Observe that after God created the first man and woman, He blessed them with the ability to reproduce. He did the same to ALL living creatures He made (see Gen. 1:11-12, 20-22, 24-25). Having created the first living creatures, God did not need to create again. THEY would reproduce “after their own kind.” This is how the Earth has become populated with living creatures since the beginning of the world. So, contrary to popular belief, babies do not “come from Heaven,” they are “created” on Earth by human parents.
